Program Infomation

1. Cultivation Objectives
The two-year full-time MA enterprise management, entirely taught in English, was
developed as part of the “International Students” program at the School of Economics
and Management, Hainan University. enterprise management offers high quality
learning and research opportunities for international students who are eager to take on
a key role in the field of management（business manager, CEO, senior consultant and
so on).
2. Cultivation Requirements
1) Curriculum Requirements
The program provides lectures, seminars, and workshops in English in a variety of
specialized areas that are designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and
skills in the area of enterprise management. Our extensive curriculum enables
students to choose from a variety of taught courses that delivered by our excellent
faculty who has overseas education background, and some of the others are guest
professors from Overseas. Seminars, workshops, and other electives both in
economics and management provide students with knowledge, skills and insight
necessary to develop an academic foundation for writing a degree dissertation. To complete the masters program, each student must take a minimum of 36 credits
(including 10 credits for Chinese language) and submit a dissertation under the
supervision of his / her academic tutor. The program also provides practical classes
such as ‘Doing Business in China and China’s Economy of Tropical Agriculture’ while collaborating with the Chinese Language Program offered through School of
Economics and Management, and/or the College of International Cultural Exchange
of Hainan University. Those who have acquired sufficient Chinese language skills are
able to take courses in the Chinese Graduate Program in addition to courses taught in
English.
2) Dissertation requirements
Students are required to write 25,000-30,000 words dissertation in English in the field
of enterprise management.
